Exercise Therapy

Therapeutic exercise is any form of bodily movement aimed at correcting impairment, reducing pain, improving musculoskeletal function or maintaining a state of well-being. It is also the most evidence-based approach in therapy with studies showing significant results in releasing contracted muscles, tendons and fascia, mobilising joints, improving circulation and respiratory capacity, improving balance and coordination, reducing stiffness and rigidity, improving exercise performance and functional capacity and obviously increasing muscle strength and power. It is therefore not an understatement when we assert that when given correctly and progressively exercise is one of the best tools in physiotherapy.

One of our lead physiotherapists possesses a master’s degree in exercise prescription for both the healthy individuals and for those that suffer from specific injuries and conditions. This is the reason why we strongly believe in our own exercise regimes and protocols since they are all heavily backed up by literature, knowledge, and experience.
