Fitness

Our fitness team at Remedies offers a variety of classes ranging from full body cardio to functional strength training. We also offer personal training to individuals or small groups. To complement and support our fitness team is our sports medicine and physiotherapy clinic which enables our fitness instructors to push you to achieve your maximum performance in a safe manner.

Fitness Classes 

This Group Exercise Class will be in the form of consecutive exercise stations with different exercises in each station.

A mix of Swiss balls, dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, TRX and your own body weight will be utilized in these workouts. A set time will be allocated for each station (depending on the level of the class) and a small rest period will be allocated for the participants to move from one station to the next one.

At Remedies Fitness Studio we make sure that we target all major muscle groups to ensure a full body conditioning workout.

Calorie Blaster: Burn away calories with our full body high-intensity interval training class. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

Power Hour: Work on your strength with our functional strength class. Adjust the weights to work for you and follow the instructors exercise pattern to get the best results in the shortest amount of time.

Fit to the Core: Enjoy your core work with this versatile cardio & core class. Sure to get you the toned physique you’re looking for and will ensure you enjoy achieving it! Working on aerobic endurance and muscular endurance under the guidance of our trainer.

Circuit Training
Ideal for improving our range of motion

Explanation – movements or exercises that improve a person’s ability to complete their activities or to achieve a specific goal.
The focus is on mobility, stability, balance and coordination of our body especially the core area ( all our power derives from the abdominal and lower back area).
Benefits – Central Nervous System (CNS) improvements, postural corrections, body stabilizers, core stability and mobility, flexibility, balance and coordination.

Full Body Training (Callisthenics)
Ideal for weight loss

Explanation – using Speed and/or Load to train our upper and lower body to hit all the major muscle groups.
Using Tabata with workouts of example 30 seconds on followed by 10 seconds rest. It’s important to use our body to train.
There is a long list of benefits – lower blood pressure, improve heart health, improve memory & brain function, weight management, improve bone density, improve sleep quality, improve joint pain and stiffness & more.

Stretching
Ideal to relieve muscle soreness

Explanation – helps relieve from delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS), at the end of the week we would do dynamic stretching, static stretching and most important proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF’S).
Benefits – improve our range of motion, flexibility, muscular strength and reflexes.

HIIT

Explanation – HIIT exercise sessions consist of a warm-up period followed by repetitions of high-intensity exercises separated by medium intensity exercises for recovery, then a cool-down period.

Having the assistance of a fully qualified personal trainer just for yourself on a one-to-one basis ensures that you get maximum attention and the best personal service for one whole hour.

Our personal trainer will assess your needs and formulate a session to target your specific needs using a wide range of exercises and equipment.

Personal training sessions are ideal If you need more guidance in your fitness journey, whether you’re a seasoned athlete, or just setting your foot in a gym for the first time, our team of qualified personal trainers will be happy to help you!

Group 

Training with some friends, colleagues or people with similar goals or interests is a great motivator, especially for those looking to lose weight and get lean. By being in a group you’ll benefit from increased motivation, gain confidence, and meet new people. These sessions are usually held for a small group of 2-3 persons.
