We are seeking to recruit a Front Desk Receptionist on a full-time or reduced hours basis to join our Remedies Clinics team. We care deeply about the people we serve and the people we work with, treating our patients with kindness and respect. The selected candidate’s main responsibility will be to act as the first point of contact for clients, patients, healthcare professionals, and fellow employees who interact with him/her on behalf of the Clinics.

The selected candidate will primarily work at Remedies Campus Hub Clinic, with occasional shifts at Remedies Sliema Clinic. Working hours will be flexible from Monday to Saturday, in line with the Clinics’ opening hours, as outlined below:
Monday to Friday: 08:30 to 20:30/21:30
Saturday: 08:00 to 14:00

You’ll be joining us at an exciting time as we launch our brand-new wellness unit in Sliema, forming part of our chain of Remedies Pharmacies and Clinics.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • To welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone; answering or referring enquiries to the appropriate department/person.
  • To establish and maintain good communication with health care professionals and other service providers.
  • To register and follow up on all appointments in the clinic software in a timely manner, ensuing all details are correct.
  • To keep patients’ appointments on schedule by notifying service providers of patients’ arrival.
  • To record payments in the clinic software, handling of cash, correct logging of cheque and epos payments.
  • To assist/perform daily end of day reports.
  • To assist with the extraction of data from the clinic software to provide management with regular reports.
  • To maintain regular checks on Remedies Clinic’s email address, website and Facebook page while reporting and / or responding to any queries, comments and / or suggestions placed on such platforms.
  • To carry out all other front desk reception duties and requirements.

 

Skills and Competences

  • Minimum O’ level standard of education;
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, preferably ECDL certified;
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision;
  • A good team player;
  • Have attention to detail.

 

Candidates with previous experience in a customer service role and proficiency in the use of a clinic software will be given preference, however, training will be provided.
