We are seeking to recruit a Clinic Call Centre Agent on a full-time basis to join our Remedies Clinics team.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch of a new Call Centre for Remedies Clinics. The selected candidate will provide the core Call Centre coverage and play an important role in ensuring that patients and clients receive a professional, efficient and friendly service whenever they contact our Clinics.

 

Working Hours

Working hours will be scheduled on a flexible basis from Monday to Saturday, in line with the Call Centre’s operating hours:

Monday to Friday: 08:30 to 20:00

Saturday: 09:00 to 14:00

 

Key Responsibilities

· Answer incoming calls and provide patients and clients with a friendly, professional and efficient service.

· Assist with enquiries relating to Clinic services, healthcare professionals and appointments.

· Book, amend and follow up on patient appointments using the Clinic’s software.

· Handle appointment cancellations, rescheduling and confirmations.

· Make outbound calls to patients when required, including appointment reminders and follow-ups.

· Liaise with Clinic teams to ensure patient enquiries are dealt with promptly and appropriately.

· Record calls, appointments, enquiries and follow-ups accurately in the relevant systems.

· Follow up on outstanding enquiries and ensure patients receive a timely response.

· Identify and escalate complaints or matters requiring the attention of a healthcare professional or management.

· Maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with patient information.

· Contribute to maintaining and improving a high standard of service for patients and clients.

· Carry out other related customer service and administrative duties as required.

 

Skills and Competences

· Minimum O’ Level standard of education;

· Previous experience in a call centre, customer service or similar role will be considered an asset;

· Excellent customer service and telephone skills;

· Excellent verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English;

· A professional, friendly and empathetic approach when dealing with patients and clients;

· Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and professional when dealing with a high volume of calls;

· Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively;

· Proficient in the use of a PC and able to learn and use new software systems effectively;

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy;

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;

· A good team player.

 

Candidates with previous experience in a healthcare, clinic, pharmacy, customer service or call centre environment will be given preference. However, training will be provided on the relevant Clinic systems, procedures and services.
